We are delighted that you have chosen to become a member of the Hakluyt Society. To proceed with your application and to pay your subscription online by credit card, please complete the form below. For other methods to join the Society, please click here.
In the box labelled “Preferred Login ID“, please enter a name which identifies you. This could be your forename or surname, or a combination of both, such as johnsmith, jsmith, john, etc. Some people choose a nickname. Anything will do.
In the box labelled “Preferred Password“, please enter a password, ideally consisting of at least eight characters and having a mixture of letters and numbers. In the next box you are asked to confirm your password. Simply enter your preferred password again, just to make sure that you didn’t mistype it the first time around. For added security, please do not use a password that you use elsewhere online.
It is not essential to enter a telephone or fax number, but your email address is required.
Please keep a note of your ID and password in a safe place. You will need them in future to login to the Members’ Area or to renew your subscription online.
When you have completed the form, please click “Next”, which will take you to another form requesting further details.
At the end of the registration process, you will have the option of paying your subscription immediately by VISA or Mastercard (only).
The Society will acknowledge receipt of your application. In due course, after the Society has processed your application, you will be sent an email confirming your payment and that your Members’ Area login access has been activated.
Please do not make use of this form if you are an existing member simply renewing your subscription. To renew your subscription, please click here and select your renewal method.
